Training Philosophy

Dr. Kristen Herzog trains injectors both privately and nationally for two of the largest aesthetic companies. Her experience in the aesthetic industry inspired her to develop her own comprehensive training program for beginner injectors to better prepare them for a career in cosmetic injectables. Kristen also offers advanced trainings and shadowing opportunities for medical providers that are seeking to learn new skills and techniques and take their careers to the next level.

I love to share all of my techniques that I have learned with fellow injectors in hopes of elevating the industry and optimizing patient safety and outcomes.”

Beginner injectable course

Day 1 – Neuromodulators (Botox):
We will begin the day with didactic, followed by hands-on lab, and then live injections. You will have the opportunity to inject one full upper-face Botox model. You may provide your own model, or we can provide one for you. Models will receive 50% off their service. Botox is regularly priced at $14 per unit.

Day 2 – Dermal Fillers:
We will begin the day with didactic, followed by hands-on lab, and then live injections. You will have the opportunity to inject one model for either lip filler or cheek filler. You may provide your own model, or we can provide one for you. Models will receive 50% off their service. Lip filler is regularly priced at $850. Cheek filler is regularly priced at $850.

At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion for injecting Botox and Dermal fillers. This gives you the training to inject after the course, however, it is recommended you continue training and get experience working at a clinic/med spa. At the end of the course, there will be a 15-minute Q&A with Kristen where you can ask questions regarding the next steps for your career as an injector & medical directing services.

Length: 2 Days | Each day 10am - 4pm
Requirements: Must hold an RN or Advanced Medical Degree. AZ state license or compact license is required for hands on training.
Cost: $4,500. A deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot and the rest of the course amount is due on the day of the course.
What to bring: Please come dressed in scrubs and closed toed shoes. A course manual will be provided, please bring a pen for additional note taking.

Advanced Training Course

This training program is designed for injectors who are already certified but want additional training on advanced techniques in specific areas. We will be covering lips, cheeks, tear troughs, sculptra or kybella.

Length: 4 hours, models and product will be provided.
Requirements: Must have 6+ months experience injecting full time or 12+months experience injecting part time.
What To Bring: Please come dressed in scrubs and closed toed shoes.

Cost: $3,500 - A deposit of $500 is required to hold your spot and the rest of the course amount is due on the day of the course.

Cost does not include any travel expenses if out of state (Flight & Hotel)

SHADOWING OPPORTUNITIES

Are you interested in observing Kristen inject and see how things work at The Perfect Dose? Come shadow Kristen! Our clinic days consist of a combination of filler across the face, Sculptra, PDO threads, Kybella, PRP/PRF treatments, and Botox/Dysport. Considering clinic days are variable, we will try our best to accommodate your personal learning priorities during this time. A typical day consists of 5-7 hours and there will be a 15 min Q/A with Kristen at the end!

Length: 5-7 hours of shadowing, observation only no hands-on will be allowed

Requirements: MUST HOLD RN OR ADVANCED MEDICAL DEGREE

About Kristen

Kristen is the founder and lead injection specialist at Perfect Dose. Kristen is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Arizona State University and then proceeded to complete her Doctorate in Nursing at Arizona State University. She is a national trainer for Galderma. In addition to training for these industry leading companies, Kristen runs her own private training course for beginner injectors and travels to privately train doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses across the nation. She is a top injector and master at her craft. She specializes in advanced injectable techniques such as full face contouring with dermal filler and sculptra, lip tenting techniques, chin/jawline contouring as well as PDO threads. She will leave you looking natural and refreshed. Kristen values continuing education and advanced trainings at the core of her practice. She is always up to date on the latest and safest techniques available in aesthetics. Her mission and goal is to inspire confidence and enhance her patient’s natural beauty. Kristen prides herself on not only being highly educated in advanced techniques and delivering the best outcomes, but also truly developing connections with each of her patients.
