Vivace Services

With Vivace, Scottsdale patients can address sagging skin, stretch marks, skin laxity, acne scars, uneven skin tone and texture, and other skin flaws. These skin rejuvenation cosmetic procedures provide natural, painless results tailored to each patient’s skin surface.

What is Vivace?

Vivace is a minimally invasive therapy that combines microneedling with traditional radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin and increase collagen production. Instead of just treating the surface of the skin, Vivace treats the deeper layers. Vivace’s one-of-a-kind microneedles provide varied levels of penetration for even treatment of shallow, moderate, and deep skin issues, as well as acne scarring.

The insulated needles transmit light thermal radiofrequency energy beneath the first layer of skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing process and tightening loose skin. Only minimal downtime is needed—patients usually do not require any level of topical numbing cream to protect the skin from heat energy. Despite the depth with which needles penetrate in RF microneedling, the underlying tissue undergoes skin tightening without experiencing any tissue damage.

Am I a Good Candidate for Vivace?

The best candidates for a Vivace treatment are healthy individuals who want to correct loose facial skin texture, uneven complexion, fine lines, and wrinkles without surgery. Since the treatment is minimally invasive and less painful, it is recommended for people who have no medical conditions that complicate wound healing.

People with medical devices like pacemakers and other metallic implants are not ideal candidates for Vivace RF microneedling. The RF energy used in microneedling devices may disrupt their normal function. If you have one of these devices and want to counter skin aging, explore our treatment device options during a consultation at The Perfect Dose.

How to Prepare for a Vivace Treatment

To prepare your skin and body for a Vivace RF microneedling treatment, you will need to avoid topical antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs for a time as directed. These medications can risk slower wound healing.

To prevent skin irritation, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and do not apply retinoids, exfoliants, or acids to the areas selected for treatment. Since this is not a plastic surgery, the patient will undergo a less extensive preparation.

Schedule any waxing sessions or other hair-removal treatments a minimum of five to seven days before your Vivace RF microneedling appointment. Shaving is recommended a day before your session.

After Your Session

Once your Vivace treatment session is complete, you will be able to return to your everyday schedule without any need for recovery time. Slight redness or itchiness may be present for a time but will ameliorate in time.

How Long Do the Vivace Treatment Results Last?

The results of a Vivace RF microneedling appear gradually and can last for one to two years depending on how the patient takes care of their skin. During your consultation, our skincare expert will discuss the cosmetic procedure and provide dos and don’ts for you to experience the full benefits of this treatment.
